BE BIGGER THAN ANY PROBLEMS
Essentially this card teaches us not to work to avoid, run or hide from problems, be bigger than any problem by growing yourself.
What do you think that means? What growth have you noticed in yourself over the last couple of years that makes you realize you are bigger (not in size but in character) than you were before? I will confess, I notice most that I have grown bigger than my problems when it is reflected in my parenting. I notice where I haven’t grown too!
I also notice where I have grown larger than my problems when I see others dropping into drama about stuff that just doesn’t seem to be that big of a deal and I remember when it used to be just as upsetting to me as the one I am witnessing.
Please share where you have noticed yourself being bigger than your problems.

Flies who are trapped inside will see a closed window and fly towards it thinking it’s the way to freedom. The fly hits the window and realizes that it’s hard and he still can’t get out. Again and again he throws himself against that window an inch to the left 5 inches to the right, down 4 inches, up 7, and still he can see what looks like freedom and fresh air but he can’t reach it. All day will go buy and the fly will still be throwing himself gliding along the closed window trying to get out to no avail. The next day you look over at the window and see the dead fly on the floor. I almost feel sorry for that fly. Three feet away there’s a door that opened and closed 100’s of times through out the day so close to the window the fly would die on. Have you ever noticed how much we humans do the same thing? We see what is false freedom and we throw ourselves towards it. Sadly, when we realize it isn’t freedom we don’t back up and start exploring every other opportunity with in 50 feet, we keep going back to the same approach that didn’t work in the first place.
